Creo’s EZ Tolerance analysis significantly enhances the ease and productivity of defining tolerance stackups. The improved stackup dialog now features next/previous commands, providing users with better control over the stackup definition process. Users can conveniently choose whether the stackup component names should be based on the Creo file name or customized by the user. Additionally, a new command allows users to select an alternate annotation plane for a stackup, and the analysis plot now incorporates information about all quality metrics.

In the previous version, making a wrong selection when defining a new stackup meant restarting the entire workflow, lacking the ability to rectify the mistake. In the latest release, the New Stackup dialog box has been modernized to enhance productivity and usability, introducing the following improvements:

  • Live lists now represent selected components and mating features.
  • Undo and Redo functionalities are now available for components and mating features selections.
  • Standardization of some icons has been implemented.

Benefits:

  • Rectify selection mistakes easily when defining a new stack-up.
  • Clear indication provided for selections.
  • Reduced time spent recreating stackups due to incorrect selections.
