One possible representation of lattices in Creo Parametric is Full Geometry and it’s the most accurate. However, previously the Stochastic Lattice feature failed in some cases when attaching small beams into a solid shell, especially in complex cases. A common workaround was to use a simplified representation.

Starting from Creo 9.0, it eliminates the need to use the workaround and deals with the attachment failures. It is an improvement of the internal algorithm. It increases the success rate of complex lattices creation when using Full Geometry representation.
