User Interface Location: N/A
Release: Creo Parametric 9.0.0.0
What is the benefit of this enhancement?
In Creo Parametric, one of the available ways to represent lattices is Full Geometry, which delivers the highest level of accuracy. However, in earlier releases, the Stochastic Lattice feature could fail when attaching very small beams to a solid shell—particularly in complex lattice designs. To work around this limitation, users often had to switch to a simplified representation.
This enhancement improves the internal algorithm to resolve those attachment issues, eliminating the need for the workaround. As a result, the success rate of creating complex stochastic lattices using the Full Geometry representation is significantly increased, while maintaining maximum accuracy.
