In Creo Parametric, the latest enhancement introduces the capability to divide surfaces. This means you can now split surfaces using sketches or curves, supporting various methods of surface creation.
This feature allows for the application of boundary conditions across different simulation types. Whether it’s structural, thermal, modal, or fluid simulations in Creo Simulation Live, dividing surfaces proves to be a versatile tool.

This enhancement proves particularly valuable when you need to selectively apply boundary conditions by splitting geometry faces. Prior to this enhancement, dividing surfaces was not possible in Creo Parametric.
By enabling the division of surfaces, this enhancement enhances the precision of applied boundary conditions in simulations. It contributes to more accurate loads and constraints, reducing assumptions and providing a more realistic simulation environment.
