A new gallery layout has been introduced, allowing users to browse all system and user-defined surface finish symbols in one unified view.

What’s the Benefit of This Enhancement?
The gallery now includes all surface finish symbols defined in the pro_surface_finish_dir configuration option, and the system surface finish symbols if the configuration is not defined. It organizes symbols into folders that can be expanded or collapsed for easy navigation. This feature is especially helpful when placing surface finish symbols into models or drawings.

The gallery also offers multiple thumbnail size display options and a name-based search feature to quickly locate specific surface finish symbols. Additionally, the gallery’s first section highlights recently used surface finish symbols and provides the ability to pin symbols to a dedicated “Pinned” section. To pin a symbol, simply activate the shortcut menu on the symbol and select the “Pin to gallery” option.

This modern, interactive gallery navigation aligns with the gallery introduced for regular symbols in Creo Parametric 8.0.0.0, enhancing the user experience for managing surface finish symbols.
