Freestyle: Connect Pattern and Join Pattern Commands
The new Connect Pattern and Join Pattern commands enable you to merge distinct rotational pattern shapes into a single, rotationally symmetric shape. These workflows are similar to those of the Connect Mirror and Join Mirror commands.
- Connect Pattern: Creates new shapes and mesh elements to bridge gaps between elements.
- Join Pattern: Brings target mesh elements together without creating new elements.
The connection is based on the target mesh elements of the leader shape, ensuring precise and symmetric results.

Creo Parametric 11.0.0.0
User Interface Location:
•In Freestyle, click Symmetry > Connect Pattern.
•In Freestyle, click Symmetry > Join Pattern.

Benefits
This enhancement allows you to quickly and efficiently create seamless rotationally symmetric shapes, streamlining your design process.
Additional Information
- Limitations: Once the pattern is connected, its elements cannot be modified. To re-pattern the leader shape, you must delete the connected pattern.
- Does it replace existing functionality?: No.
- Configuration Options: None associated with this functionality.
