Previously, the datum planes with large sizes cluttered the graphical model presentation in Creo, and you had to manually adjust their sizes.
Now you can control the default datum size in one of the following ways –
- The default size is automatically calculated to fit the model outline (as it was previously).
- The default size is set to values as preconfigured in config.pro
- The default size is automatically calculated to fit the size of the display reference
More flexibility is provided through the two new behaviors of the Use display reference check box and the display reference collector.
The display reference collector is typically prefilled with the first reference that is used to define the datum plane when the selected display reference is of type Vertex or Datum Point.
