Starting with Creo 7.0, you can analyze the deviation between the reconstructed surface geometry and the generative design optimized shape. The deviation analysis comparison provides visual and numerical feedback on the proximity of BREP (boundary representation) surfaces to the triangulated geometry. The results show the minimum and maximum deviation values, based on surface normal.
The deviation analysis identifies areas in the reconstructed geometry that deviate from the optimized shape so you can edit and improve the quality of your model.
