Starting from Creo 9.0, you can retain the drawing details for components that are replaced, embedded, or extracted. When a drawing already exists for an assembly and the assembly components are replaced, the drawing retains annotations and other detailing for the replaced components.

For inseparable assemblies, when embedding or extracting components to become inseparable or separable, the existing drawing of the assembly retains the drawing detailing of the embedded or extracted components.
