A new enhancement has been added to support standalone annotations with advanced surface collection methods. This is useful when you want to collect multiple surfaces for a single annotation in a single selection. The new Surface Sets tab in the References dialog box allows you to easily collect the required semantic references.

A quick collection of the semantic references can be done using the following advanced methods:

•Surfaces of all bodies

•Seed and bounds

•Loop surfaces

•Intent surfaces

Note: All types of modernized standalone annotations are supported and we can exclude individual surfaces from the rule-based collections..

Previously, the advanced surface selection methods were supported only for the annotations related to an annotation feature. Now, the standalone annotations are also supported. This update helps you better convey the design intent. It also enables an easier selection of multiple semantic references in complex shapes and reduces the time spent on selecting surfaces of complex models. For more information, follow this link
