Starting with Creo 7, material assignment workflow has been improved by auto-populating the master material in Design Criteria dialog box. While setting the design criteria in Generative Design, the Master Material is automatically assigned to the part. User no longer need to manually add the material in the Design Criteria dialog box.
If user have not set a Master Material for the part, Design Criteria dialog box will not list any specific material and user will then need to manually select various materials to include in the design criteria.
User Interface: Click Generative Design > Design Criteria.
